You are cordially invited to experience the inaugural Gateway To your Deepest Potential at Villa Sumaya, Lake Atitlan in Guatemala on March 9-16, 2024. This weeklong experience will combine the life-long learnings of its guides Helen Rothberg and Paula Coyne amidst the beauty of Villa Sumaya and the Mayan culture.

Meet Your Instructors

Helen and Paula, friends for over 20 years, are bringing together their collective experience and passion for supporting the expansion of human potential. You’ll have time to rest and be nurtured in this exquisitely beautiful retreat center and be energized by the dynamic experiences that we’ll weave together for you. Yoga, dance and other movement; breathwork, visualization, workshops, ritual, introspection, writing and collaboration will combine to open gateways.

About Your Stay

 

Our setting is Lake Atitlan, “the most beautiful lake in the world,” and the majestic volcanoes towering over it. Power and potential are easily evoked by these natural elements; we’ll take them on as a mirror of what lies within us. Villa Sumaya is known as “the place where dreams come true”. How big will you dare to vision, to dream?

 

Our retreat will be the only event at Villa Sumaya during this special week. 10% of our profits will be donated toward the well-being and culture of the local people.

  • 7 nights of accommodation at the beautiful Villa Sumaya Eco-Chic Wellness Center, on the shore of Lake Atitlan
  • Ground Transportation to and from Villa Sumaya
  • 3 delicious, healthy, vegetarian meals daily (chicken and fish available at extra cost)
  • 7 Morning practice experiences (Yoga or other movement practice, accessible for every body (mat & props provided), meditation.
  • A combination of intentionally- curated sessions, ceremonies and excursions to support your best experience
  • Authentic Mayan Fire Ceremony with an amazing local Shaman

This friends and family invitational is specially priced to offer our community the opportunity to experience our program and provide us with feedback. We have included some information about Villa Sumaya, accommodations, and pricing. We respectfully request that if you are serious about joining, to send a non-refundable $500 deposit, and indicate your lodging preference by July 15, 2023.

 

We highly recommend arriving at least 1 day before our workshop begins. (Please fly into Guatemala City Airport by March 8th.) Once you register, we’ll send recommendations about where to stay in Antigua following your arrival at the Guatemala City airport, plus other details to help you prepare.
